Removal policy

Removal is always free.

There is no paid removal, no paid correction and no pay-to-hide. Anyone may report an error or concern without an account.

What we remove

A person’s name or a home address that the agency itself does not publish is redacted within 24 hours. A residential assisted-living home whose street address the state masks is shown by city only. A facility that the agency has removed from its roster is labelled closed, and its history stays published as history — closed facilities are never deleted, because the record of an operator matters.

What we do not remove

A survey, deficiency or penalty that appears in the official record. If you believe the official record is wrong, tell us where to verify it; if the agency corrects it, we do too, within the next refresh, and we log the change.

Suppression

Where a record must be withdrawn — a legal order, a genuine privacy harm — the page answers HTTP 410, leaves the sitemap and the search index, and the reason is logged.

This site is not a consumer reporting agency and its records may not be used to make decisions about employment, credit, insurance or housing. Records are for informational use.
