Privacy

What we keep, and what we never collect.

We collect no resident-level data and publish no protected health information. Facility records are public documents published by federal and state agencies; we reproduce them and nothing else.

Reports and watches

When you send a report, we store the text, an optional evidence link, a hash of your connection address for rate limiting, and — if you provide one — a hash of your email so we can recognise a reply. Watch subscriptions store your email so that alerts can be sent; it is never displayed, sold or shared, and every alert carries an unsubscribe link.

Operators

Operator verification stores the work email used and the method chosen. Published responses show the facility name and date, never a person’s name.

Names in narratives

Survey narratives are published by agencies with residents and staff identified only by number or initial. We redact any individual name that slips through at ingest, and privacy reports are handled within 24 hours — we redact first and review after.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets one preference (theme) and, for administrators only, a session cookie. No third-party analytics or advertising scripts run on record pages.

This site is not a consumer reporting agency and its records may not be used to make decisions about employment, credit, insurance or housing. Records are for informational use.
